About the challenge

PDX MetroHacks 2024 is an in-person hackathon open to youth coders at any level of coding! Our mission is to provide opportunities for students to apply the skills they've learned in order to make fascinating projects. We'll have numerous workshops to teach participants about AI vision and webscraping, as well as guest speaker from the industry. Attend PDX MetroHacks 2024 to experience all this and more!

Requirements

What to Build

The prompt for PDX MetroHacks 2024 will be revealed during the event. Our judges will be grading on the following four principles: technicality, creativity, uniqueness, and impactfulness (read the Rules for more details).

What to Submit

Competitors will be expected to submit the following:

  • A fully functioning application
  • A 2-5 minute video
  • A short bio explaining the project
  • An image to represent the project
